Jack knives with a half round notch cut into the widest part of the handle are called "Easy-Openers." This notch allows a person to grasp the end of the main blade with their finger tips eliminating the use of the fingernail. This is a very popular pattern among collectors and users alike. This knife was also favored by boys lacking the strength in their thumbnail to open the blade.
Jeff makes this pattern in a variety of handle materials and blade shapes. All blade steels are available and in several different finishes. Filework and sheild are also options for this knife. The length of this knife is 3-5/8" closed with a 2-1/4" main blade. Main blade comes with long pull or nail nick and with or without swedge.
